Yes — the first consultation with The Bookkeeper Guy is completely free, up to one hour, no obligation. We review your current bookkeeping situation, recommend the right pricing tier based on your actual transaction volume, and walk through the engagement scope before you sign.

Nothing required, but it's helpful to have: a rough estimate of your monthly transaction count (we can pull this in 30 seconds if you have QBO), a list of connected bank and credit-card accounts, and a description of any known problem areas (missed reconciliations, messy categorizations). If you don't have QBO yet, bring a guess at monthly transaction count — we'll refine from there.

You'll receive an automatic calendar confirmation immediately. Stephen will follow up personally within 24 business hours if any scheduling adjustment is needed. Most Phoenix-metro clients book and have their consultation within 3–5 business days.

Both. The Bookkeeper Guy is based in Maricopa, AZ, so in-person meetings are available throughout the Phoenix metro and Pinal County. Virtual meetings via Zoom or Google Meet are available to any AZ or Missoula, MT client.

The Bookkeeper Guy serves remote clients via QBO screen-share, Zoom, and secure document portal — same pricing whether you're in Maricopa, Scottsdale, or Missoula. Bookkeeping is inherently digital; geography only matters for in-person training, which we offer across the full Phoenix metro and Pinal County at no additional charge.
